Carers Day – June 2025 (during Carers Week)

Held in partnership with Carers Trust Heart of England, offering a full day of multisport activities at the Arena.

Provided a supportive environment for carers, young carers, and families to connect, unwind, and engage in physical activity, with special appearances by team mascot “Sky Blue Sam”.
Community Day on the Pitch – 26 May 2024

A vibrant showcase event featuring 48 local primary schools and a wide range of community organisations, including Dementiactive, Mentalk, Cancer Support, SEND schools, Coventry College, Walking Football, Girls Emerging Talent Centre, and the Player Development Centre.

Included sport demos (e.g. walking football) and educational outreach, designed to promote health, inclusion, and participation.
Community Open Iftar – 23 March 2025

Co-hosted with Rising Stars and Positive Youth, this was the first-ever Open Iftar at the CBS Arena, bringing together the Muslim community and local residents for evening prayers and the communal breaking of fast.

Kabaddi Celebration Event – 4 December 2024

A unique cultural and sports celebration, organised alongside Coventry City Council and the football club.

Hosted a kabaddi tournament for children from local primary schools and included cultural activities in the fan zone before a Coventry City home match coventrybuildingsocietyarena.co.uk.

Funded by the Premier League Fans Fund and United by 2022 Charity with the goal of introducing Kabaddi, especially to the South Asian Foleshill community and enhancing their matchday experience.
Sands United Charity Match – 7 June 2025

A charity football match raising funds for the Sands Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity and Sky Blues in the Community’s own MenTalk project.

Showcased sport as a platform for vital health and wellbeing conversations, while supporting bereaved families.

Sands United are a football team that was started by a dad who lost his baby in 2018 and the team are a part of the Sands Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity support network. The football team offer support for dads, brothers, uncles and grandfathers who have experienced a loss, with some areas opening up Mothers day football matches.
CCFC Kit Design Competition

Sky Blues in the Community ran their third annual CCFC kit design contest, engaging local children and supporters in creative design challenges.

Encouraged youth participation and reinforced community pride and connection with the club.
