Sky Blues in the Community (SBitC) will be hosting trials for their Girls Emerging Talent Centre (GETC) in July for the upcoming 2026\/27 season, continuing from what has been a very successful programme for us.<\/strong><\/p>\n Our GETC provides a very positive environment for young female players to develop holistically whilst also maintaining and developing a love for the game. Weekly training sessions and matches in a variety of formats have contributed to a very successful season when it comes to individual player development. During the 25\/26 season,\u00a0we had 25% of our players either attend trials or secure a place within a female academy setup<\/strong>. In addition to this, we have had girls secure call ups to represent their county football teams.<\/p>\n What is a Girls Emerging Talent Centre?<\/strong><\/p>\n A GETC is a nationwide run programme that identifies and nurtures talented players by providing accessible training opportunities that focus on individual development.
