His outgoing nature and fan likeability endears him to everyone he meets. There is a serious side to him that not many people see, and a humility that\u2019s bought out when doing community visits, particularly with the younger generation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ben has been nominated as a Player Ambassador for Sky Blues in the Community for the last few years, which shows his outgoing personality and interaction with our community programmes across Coventry &amp; Warwickshire, through community cohesion, health, education and sport. Last summer Ben also attended one of our disability sessions, covering young people with SEN\/behavioural needs as part of Sky Blues in the Community\u2019s inclusion programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ben commented: \u201cI am honoured to have been chosen as Coventry City\u2019s Community Player of the Season; I feel very grateful to have been considered as it means a lot to me that I am able to give back to the community. Putting smiles on the faces of hundreds of people I have managed to spend time with in our local community over the last year, of different ages and backgrounds, is an amazing feeling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOne of the best bits about these community appearances is that it allows me to help bring people together and inspire them to strive for success in their everyday life. I thank you all for not only accepting me, but allowing me to be myself and smile along with you as we take part in these activities together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cA lot of this is alongside Sky Blues in the Community too, and I have seen at first hand the impact their projects have on people.
